Bitcoin Price Holds Strong: A Potential Rally on the Horizon?

Bitcoin (BTC) demonstrated resilience, finding support above the crucial $107,500 level. This has sparked a recovery, potentially setting the stage for a move beyond the $109,200 resistance. The upward momentum is evident, with BTC trading comfortably above $108,500 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average.

However, a bearish trend line, currently resisting at $109,050 (Kraken data), presents a near-term obstacle. Sustained trading above $107,500 is crucial for a sustained rally. The recent price action saw a decline after a failed attempt at breaking $110,000, dipping below $108,500 and $108,000 before buyers stepped in. A low was established around $107,650, initiating the current recovery.

This recovery surpassed the $108,500 resistance and the 50% Fibonacci retracement level of the decline from the $109,700 swing high to the $107,500 low. The immediate resistance sits near $109,050, followed by $109,200 (the 76.4% Fibonacci retracement level). A decisive break above $109,200 could open the path to $110,000, potentially extending gains towards $112,000 and ultimately targeting $115,000.

Downside Risks: Failure to breach the $109,200 resistance may trigger another decline. Support levels to watch include $108,400, $108,200, $107,500, and the significant support zone at $103,500. Below this level, further downward pressure is likely.

Technical Indicators: The hourly MACD shows strengthening bullish momentum. The RSI is trading above 50, signaling bullish strength.
