Bitcoin Price Prediction: Doctor Profit’s March Forecast Holds Up—What’s Next?
A month ago, crypto analyst Doctor Profit shared a Bitcoin price prediction on X that’s proven remarkably accurate. His March 21st analysis detailed Bitcoin’s trajectory, including key support and resistance levels, and the impact of the M2 money supply—a factor he argues the market misunderstands.
How Bitcoin Followed the Forecast
Doctor Profit’s analysis centered on Bitcoin’s reaction to changes in the M2 money supply. He posited that the February liquidity increase was already priced into Bitcoin’s September 2024 rally. He highlighted the weekly EMA 50 (Golden Line), around $76,000, predicting a bounce to $87,000-$88,000 before a correction. Bitcoin’s price movement closely mirrored this, dipping in early April before rebounding from near $76,000 on April 9th and surpassing $87,000.
The Next Phase: A Potential Dip?
With Bitcoin trading above $87,000, Doctor Profit anticipates a potential drop to the $70,000-$74,000 support zone. This area will be crucial in determining Bitcoin’s next major move. He outlines two scenarios:
- Scenario 1 (Bullish): A temporary dip followed by a strong close above the Golden Line would signal a reversal, suggesting closing short and accumulating long positions.
- Scenario 2 (Bearish): A close below $70,000-$74,000 could trigger a more significant downturn, potentially revisiting the $50,000 region in a worst-case scenario.
This bearish phase is expected to conclude by early May. Despite the short-term bearish outlook, Doctor Profit maintains a bullish long-term outlook, predicting a renewed bull run around May or June, pushing Bitcoin towards $120,000-$140,000.
Current Market Conditions
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at [Insert Current Price], showing [Insert Percentage Change]. The bearish prediction is invalidated only if Bitcoin closes a weekly candle above $100,000.
