Bitcoin’s Breakout Retest: On Track for $110,000 by December?
\n
The Bitcoin price has been on a rollercoaster ride in recent weeks, showcasing the inherent volatility of the cryptocurrency market. However, beneath the surface, a clear pattern emerges, suggesting a bullish trajectory for Bitcoin in the months to come.
\n
Bitcoin has just completed a retest of the downward sloping trendline that has capped its price rallies since March. This retest, as pointed out by analyst EGRAG CRYPTO, is a significant sign. The next crucial step? A decisive weekly close above the trendline. This could be the catalyst for a powerful rally towards uncharted price territories.

A Breakout Confirmed
\n
Bitcoin’s technical analysis reveals a breakout from a resistance trendline in mid-October. This breakout propelled BTC beyond $68,000 for the first time in three months. However, a subsequent consolidation indicated that the breakout was not yet fully confirmed. The recent surge in the last three days of October, from $66,900 to $73,540, marked a decisive move, confirming the breakout. This represents an increase of about 10% in just two days.

As EGRAG CRYPTO highlights, the breakout is visible on a larger timeframe – the weekly candlestick chart. Looking back to February 2024, Bitcoin’s journey to its all-time high of $73,737 on March 14, its subsequent correction to a low of $49,800 on August 5, and the recent surge above $73,000 are all part of a single, long-term breakout and retest move spanning 38 weeks.

What’s Next for Bitcoin?
\n
This sequence of price movements underscores Bitcoin’s resilience and the prevailing bullish sentiment among traders. EGRAG CRYPTO views the pattern as highly bullish and predicts that Bitcoin will continue its upward trajectory. In terms of price targets, the analyst foresees a potential surge to the $90,000 to $110,000 range by December 2024. This represents a 32% and 62% return, respectively, from the $68,000 breakout. The only remaining hurdle, according to EGRAG CRYPTO, is a weekly close in the green zone.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $68,500, down by about 1.9% in the past 24 hours. This minor pullback, however, does not seem to dampen the overall bullish sentiment surrounding Bitcoin.
