Revolutionizing real estate investment, Blocksquare, a leading Ethereum-based real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform, has joined forces with Vera Capital, a prominent Florida-based real estate firm. This groundbreaking partnership aims to tokenize over $1 billion in US commercial properties, opening up lucrative opportunities for global investors.

In a significant announcement on April 18th, Blocksquare and Vera Capital revealed plans to launch a cutting-edge marketplace in the coming weeks. This platform will allow investors worldwide to purchase tokenized shares in a diverse portfolio of commercial properties spanning seven US states. The initial offerings will include properties from Vera Capital’s existing portfolio, showcasing the potential of this innovative approach.

Among the first properties available for fractional ownership are a modern three-story office building in Fort Lauderdale and a thriving retail plaza in Dania Beach – both prime examples of the high-quality assets being offered. These properties, showcased on Vera Capital’s website (veracapital.io/properties), represent just the beginning of a much larger initiative.

According to Vera Group CEO, Nick Polyushkin, the $1 billion valuation encompasses both the tokenization of existing assets and future fundraising for ambitious development projects. This includes plans to tokenize two sizable unit complexes, further solidifying Vera Capital’s commitment to this innovative investment strategy.

While acknowledging the ambitious nature of this undertaking, Polyushkin emphasized the realistic potential, especially within the commercial real estate sector. He highlighted the significant growth opportunities and the strong foundation upon which this initiative is built.

Tokenization and Legal Clarity

Blocksquare has a proven track record, having successfully tokenized approximately 150 properties across 28 countries, totaling over $145 million. The platform’s EU-compliant framework, launched in February 2025, provides a robust and secure foundation for these transactions. This framework is currently being evaluated for its applicability within the US market, offering potential for seamless integration.

Blocksquare CEO, Denis Petrovic, discussed the strategic approach to navigating the US regulatory landscape, emphasizing the flexibility and advantages of the Luxembourg-based framework. This framework provides an additional layer of assurance and compliance for the US marketplace, further strengthening the partnership’s foundation.
