Circle’s USDC IPO: A Major Milestone for Stablecoins

 

Circle, the powerhouse behind USDC, the second-largest stablecoin, is making headlines with its recent initial public offering (IPO). On May 27th, the company announced its plans to offer 24,000,000 shares of its Class A common stock, marking a significant step for the cryptocurrency industry.

The shares will be listed on the prestigious New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol CRCL. The offering itself consists of 9,600,000 shares directly from Circle, with an additional 14,400,000 shares offered by existing shareholders.
