DePIN Glow Secures $30 Million to Power Up India’s Solar Grid

Glow, a decentralized protocol infrastructure network (DePIN) focused on renewable energy, has secured $30 million in funding from prominent venture capital firms Framework Ventures and USV. This investment will fuel Glow’s ambitious expansion of its solar grid in India, aiming to significantly reduce the country’s reliance on fossil fuels.

The funding will be instrumental in scaling up Glow’s existing solar infrastructure and extending its reach to new communities across India. This expansion is expected to generate enough clean energy to power the equivalent of 34,000 households, marking a substantial step towards a more sustainable energy future.

Glow’s commitment to decentralized energy production empowers local communities to participate in the energy transition. By leveraging blockchain technology, Glow enables transparent and secure ownership of solar assets, fostering local economic growth and empowering individuals to take control of their energy needs.

With this latest investment, Glow is poised to play a leading role in India’s clean energy revolution. Its innovative approach to decentralized renewable energy generation promises a cleaner, more sustainable future for the country and beyond.
