Ethena’s USDe Stablecoin Expands Reach to One Billion Telegram Users via TON Partnership

Ethena, a leading decentralized stablecoin platform, has announced a strategic partnership with The Open Network (TON) to bring its stablecoins to over one billion Telegram users globally. This collaboration, unveiled at Token2049 in Dubai, marks a significant milestone in expanding access to stablecoin technology.

The integration will feature Ethena’s USDe and Ethena Staked USDe (sUSDe), rebranded as tsUSDe within the TON ecosystem. This allows Telegram users seamless access to US dollar-denominated savings directly through the platform.

This groundbreaking deployment leverages two key Ethena integrations: the custodial Wallet in Telegram and the non-custodial TON Space wallet, ensuring broad accessibility across different user preferences.

Ethena highlighted this integration as “one of its most meaningful launches to date,” emphasizing Telegram’s vast global reach, particularly in emerging markets across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

The phased rollout throughout May will encompass three major product lines: Wallet in Telegram, non-custodial wallets (TON Space and TON Keeper), and various TON applications. This strategic partnership promises to revolutionize financial access for millions.
