Ethereum Poised for Breakout: $2,100 or 15% Drop?

Ethereum (ETH) is holding steady above the crucial $1,750 support, sparking optimism for a potential breakout to $2,100. Over the past two weeks, ETH has seen a remarkable recovery, climbing nearly 20% and reaching a one-month high of $1,873. This upward trajectory could signal the end of a five-month downtrend if it maintains its position above $1,807.

Analyst Michaël van de Poppe observes strong buying pressure, suggesting a significant move towards $2,100 within the next one to two weeks. This level is particularly significant, having served as both resistance and support during previous market cycles. World of Charts echoes this sentiment, noting ETH’s consolidation between $1,750 and $1,870 as a potential springboard for a rally towards $2,500.

However, caution remains. Daan Crypto Trades warns that bulls need to act quickly, as another retest of the $1,750 support could trigger a 15% drop, potentially sending ETH back to the $1,500 range. Crypto Amsterdam shares this concern, suggesting a possible retracement to the $1,550-$1,650 zone before any further gains. The current price hovers around $1,811.

The coming days will be critical. Will ETH solidify its gains and propel towards the predicted $2,100 target, or will it succumb to bearish pressure and experience a significant correction? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for updates!
