Swedish Health Tech Soars 37% After Bitcoin Purchase; Chinese EV Maker to Acquire 1,000 BTC

The cryptocurrency market witnessed significant activity as two companies made headlines with their Bitcoin investments. Swedish health technology firm, H100 Group AB, saw its stock price surge by 37% following its initial Bitcoin acquisition. Simultaneously, Chinese electric vehicle (EV) seller, Jiuzi Holdings, announced plans to accumulate 1,000 BTC within the next year.

H100 Group’s foray into Bitcoin involved a 5 million Norwegian krone ($490,830) investment, securing approximately 4.39 BTC at an average price of roughly $111,785. This strategic move, disclosed on May 22nd, propelled the company’s share price to 1.22 Swedish krona ($0.13) on the Nordic Growth Market. CEO Sander Andersen explained the rationale behind the Bitcoin investment, stating that the values inherent in Bitcoin’s community align with H100’s customer and community focus. Meanwhile, Jiuzi Holdings, a Nasdaq-listed Chinese EV retailer, announced its intention to acquire 1,000 Bitcoin over the next year. The acquisition will be financed through a combination of stock issuance and cash purchases.
