XRP Price Consolidates: Is $4.65 the Next Target?
XRP Holds Steady Above Key Support
Following its impressive rally to new highs, XRP is currently experiencing a period of consolidation, trading between $3.40 and $3.60. This sideways movement, however, isn’t necessarily bearish. Crypto analyst, CasiTrades, highlights a significant bullish pattern forming on the 1-hour chart.
Former Resistance, Now Support: A Bullish Flip
CasiTrades points to a classic bullish trendline flip. A previously resistive trendline, just above $3.40, is now acting as strong support. Three successful tests of this trendline suggest buyers are confidently stepping in, indicating an accumulation phase rather than exhaustion.
Technical Indicators Suggest Further Upside
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the 1-hour chart shows room for further upward momentum, potentially pushing XRP above $3.65 before month’s end. While a break below the $3.40 support could lead to a retracement to $3.20 or lower Fibonacci levels ($2.96, $2.76, $2.56, $2.50, $2.27), the overall structure remains bullish.
The $4.65 Target
The analyst identifies $4.65 as the next major price target, based on a 2.618 Fibonacci extension of the previous rally. A successful break above the $3.60-$3.66 resistance zone would significantly increase the probability of reaching this target, with $4.11 serving as an intermediate level.
Market Sentiment Crucial
While the technicals are promising, the overall market sentiment will play a significant role. Positive broader market conditions will likely accelerate XRP’s upward trajectory.
